We want to send SWAG for the giveaway bags, where do we send it?

At the festival, we hand out giveaway bags to each attendee (600 bags) as they arrive. The bags will have the Two Beer Ideas logo on them and they are 380mm by 420mm. If you wish to contribute, we would ask that anything is sent to our office by Friday 22nd September, as we would plan to assemble the bags ahead of the event, ready for Saturday registration. Please note a notebook and pen will already be in the bags. We recommend ordering 600 per item of whatever you wish to send.

The address to send all swag to is:

Lizzie Hunt
Data Science Festival
Lovat Bank
37 Silver St
Newport Pagnell
MK16 0EJ

Do you offer any rentals (LCDs, etc)?

You can rent a 43” LCD Screen from us for £300 for the day. We will set this up ready for your arrival.

Please note you must let us know when you sign your contract if you wish to rent a TV.

This enables you to add this to the full PO if needed for invoicing. Diamond Sponsors have a TV included for both festivals in 2023.

What is the shipping address for sending anything to the venue?

Please read the sponsor shipping details from CodeNode here and be sure to label anything you send correctly.

Please note deliveries are to arrive NO earlier than 2 days before the event (and be collected on Monday 16th October from 9-11AM only).

The venue is not open on Sunday 15th October.

What size should my table be and where is it located?

The tables are 150x50cm and we can provide a black tablecloth for them. Please note the total space allocated is 300 x 200 cm.

Will tablecloths be provided?

We’ll provide basic black ones, but typically sponsors bring their own.

Can I display banners at my table?

Yes, stand-alone and step-and-repeat banners are acceptable up to 2.25m tall. Please note: no tape, nails, or tacks may be used. Backdrops and banners only. No large displays. If you have a large display request please email lizzie@datasciencefestival.com.

Please read the how to document before the event and think of what suitable device you will use to scan attendees badges.

What are the TBI Brand Guidelines?

TBI will provide a promotional material for the event. However, if you wish to create your own, please ensure you follow the TBI Brand Guidelines, which can be found here.

How do I get to the venue?

Via tube/train: The nearest underground stations are Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Both stations are on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. Moorgate is also on the Northern Line, and Liverpool Street on the Central line.

In addition, Liverpool Street station is a major overland train station connecting CodeNode directly with the outer London regions and rest of the UK.

To reach CodeNode from Moorgate Station, exit Moorgate Station, turn right onto Moorgate, turn right again onto South Place. Walk down on South Place until you reach number 10 on your right.

Via bicycle: For cyclists there is a Santander Cycles Hire docking station just outside our venue on South Place.

Via car: If you want to commute by car to CodeNode, NCP Finsbury Square offers an ideal parking spot. Located beneath the lawn bowls green, you’re only a short walk from CodeNode, Moorgate and Old Street. CodeNode is also serviced by a large loading bay, should you require deliveries or unloading. You can also check out Parkopedia for details of nearby parking.

Is there disability access at the venue?

The entrance to the venue is on ground level and there is a lift inside to access the lower ground floor. There are disabled toilets within the venue. We also reserve a couple of seats on the front row in each speaker room for anyone requiring this. The venue also allows guide dogs at the event.

Where do I get lunch?

Free lunch will be served in the main CodeNode area, we will make partners aware ahead of the normal lunch break, so you can eat before the attendees. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know by September 14th, so we can reserve you any speciality meals. Email this to maddie@datasciencefestival.com.

Lunch this year will be sponsored by Data Idols. There will be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Where do I get my sponsor badges?

At Registration, on the ground floor, there will be a Speaker/Sponsor Registration table where you will collect your badge for the day. Please note that this is different to the attendee table. Please email maddie@datasciencefestival.com no later than Friday 15th September with the details below of your company ticket holders or complimentary ticket holders. Sponsor company tickets will be available from the sponsor registration. Complimentary tickets will be at the attendee registration. Please note all ticket holders will get sent a ticket email as if they are an attendee. This just gives them a QR coded ticket to scan and get into the event. We can also send you a link to share with your team to allow them to sign up themselves if that is easier. Please check your contract to see how many you have available.
